Pina y Lola nació de una historia de raíces, viajes y sueños compartidos.
Hace dieciséis años, Laura Marcano dejó Estados Unidos para construir una nueva vida en Sevilla. Con el tiempo, esta ciudad se convirtió en su hogar y el vino en su forma de conectar personas, culturas e historias. El nombre del bar es un homenaje a las dos mujeres que inspiraron ese camino: Lola, su abuela mexicana, y Pina, su abuela puertorriqueña. Dos herencias, dos culturas y una misma pasión por reunir a la gente alrededor de una mesa.
Sommelier certificada WSET Nivel 3, Laura lleva más de quince años dedicada al mundo del vino, con una especial conexión con los vinos de Jerez. Su trayectoria incluye restaurantes con estrella Michelin, hoteles de lujo y la docencia en la Universidad de Sevilla. Toda esa experiencia dio forma a un sueño que finalmente se hizo realidad: crear un espacio donde el vino fuera cercano, emocionante y accesible para todos.
En Pina y Lola cada botella ha sido elegida con intención, cada tapa está pensada para acompañar el vino y cada cata es una oportunidad para descubrir algo nuevo. Organizamos experiencias temáticas, eventos privados y momentos que invitan a compartir, aprender y disfrutar sin prisas.
Más que un bar de vinos, Pina y Lola es una comunidad. Un lugar donde conviven pequeños productores, sostenibilidad, buena música, buena comida y conversaciones que empiezan con una copa y terminan creando recuerdos. Pina y Lola was born from a story of roots, journeys, and shared dreams.
Sixteen years ago, Laura Marcano left the United States to build a new life in Seville. Over time, the city became her home, and wine became her way of bringing people, cultures, and stories together. The bar is named in honor of the two women who inspired that journey: Lola, her Mexican grandmother, and Pina, her Puerto Rican grandmother. Two cultures, two family legacies, and one shared passion for gathering people around the table.
A WSET Level 3 certified sommelier, Laura has spent more than fifteen years immersed in the world of wine, with a particular passion for the wines of Jerez. Her career has taken her through Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotels, and the classrooms of the University of Seville. All of that experience led to one dream: creating a place where wine feels welcoming, exciting, and accessible to everyone.
At Pina y Lola, every bottle is chosen with care, every tapa is designed to complement the wine, and every tasting is an opportunity to discover something new. We host themed tastings, private events, and experiences that encourage people to slow down, connect, and share memorable moments.
